FAQ

What people ask us
before getting started.

A question that isn’t here? Ask it during the demo.

Before you start

On which channels does Alya answer?

WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Messenger, e-mail, a widget for your website and an integration in your mobile app. She answers under your name, on your accounts.

Which languages does she understand?

French, Arabic, Tunisian Derja in Arabic or Latin script (Arabizi) and English. She answers in the customer's language, and understands voice notes.

Do we need to change our tools?

No. Alya plugs into your channels and queries your systems through their APIs. Your advisors have a dashboard to follow and take over conversations.

Does Alya connect to our CRM?

Yes, to any CRM or business tool that exposes an API. She reads the customer's record there and updates it as needed: new contact, qualified request, ticket, appointment. You decide what she is allowed to write.

How long does it take to go live?

It depends on your content and on the systems to connect. We give you a schedule after the demo, once we know your cases.

Day to day

What happens when Alya doesn't know?

She says so and offers an advisor. The on-call advisor is alerted on their WhatsApp, takes over the conversation from the dashboard, then hands it back.

Can we approve her answers before they are sent?

Yes, with “She suggests” mode: Alya drafts the answer, your team approves it. Useful to get started, or for sensitive topics.

How do we know what customers ask?

Every morning, a report sums up the previous day, the mood of each conversation and the questions your content covers poorly.

Can customers rate the conversations?

Yes. Once their request is resolved, the customer rates the conversation in one tap. The rating shows on the conversation in the dashboard, and the average appears in the daily report.

Who updates what Alya knows?

Your team, in the knowledge base, with our help at the start. The daily report's recommendations tell you what to add.

Data and access

Does Alya access our customers' accounts?

Only if you decide so, and after the customer is identified through a one-time sign-in link. She only sees what your APIs give her.

Can she change our data?

For internal teams, she works read-only and states the role needed to act. The only writes are the ones you have allowed, for example updating a record in your CRM.

Where are conversations stored?

With the SaaS offer, on servers located in the European Union. Answers are generated by a language model called through its provider's API. The list of subprocessors is in our proposal.

Can we run Alya on our own servers (on-premise)?

Yes. Alya is available as SaaS, hosted and run by us, or as an on-premise deployment: on your servers, in your data centre or with the hosting provider of your choice, in Tunisia or in your own country. Conversations, the knowledge base and accounts are then stored on your infrastructure, in your jurisdiction. We discuss it during the demo.

Pricing

How much does Alya cost?

The price depends on your channels, your volumes and the systems to connect. We price it after the demo, on your real cases.

Another question?
